They've been at war for quite a while. Assuming you are discussing an escalation, but I don't see anything in my news channels.

Has Yemen actually been shooting stuff at Saudia Arabia in any meaningful matter? Reuters and CNBC both are running stories.

    Found it: https://www.reuters.com/article/us-s...-idUSKBN1H10YB

This does sound like an escalation to me, I wasn't aware they had missiles capable of reaching the SA capital.

Don't they do this on the regular? I feel like I have read about this many times before, and it's why SA has a missile defense system - I think the Patriot system from the USA.

Since 2015, Civil War like Syria, SA backs government, Iran backs Rebels.

This is why people are bitching our General Dynamic is selling trucks to SA.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2017–1...lomatic_crisis

This conflict is also the source of beef between SA and Qatar, since Qatar allegedly funded Iranian militants in Iraq.

Some days, it's just easier to turn that whole region into glass than keep getting the world involved in their shit.

A couple of the Patriots failed by the looks of it, one did a U Turn and came right back towards the launcher, hit the ground, and apparently wounded some people.

Yemen rebels shot down a Saudi F15 a few days back with a back of the truck mod done to a Russian a2a missile. They tried a few weeks back with a similar deal, an AA11/R73 Archer, and taped it with a recovered FLIR pod, but the F15 was a newer variant and had missile warning tech in this case and the flares decoyed it - just, it blew VERY close to the F15 that time. This latest incident, looked like an AA10 missile in IR mode (there is a radar guided and IR guided version of this air to air Russian missile), and it hit and the F15 burned up pretty good from the video - possibly an older F15 variant the Saudis had without the inbound IR missile warning tech, or that tech just didn't work this time, etc.

    This war is still rockin'
    http://www.cbc.ca/news/world/yemen-h...tack-1.4703768

A Saudi-led coalition backing Yemen's exiled government began an assault Wednesday morning on Yemen's port city of Hodeida, a crucial battle in the three-year-old conflict that aid agencies warned could push the Arab world's poorest country into further chaos.

So because they've been at war for thousands of years, it would be fake news that they'd be at war?

I think you aren't reading the intended sarcasm given the world we currently live in.

Hasn't the USA been at war pretty continuously for it's entire existence? Doesn't mean it's fake, or irrelevant.
