Wow it's been a while since I've posted on here, but I thought I'd share a newish spot that's called Vitaminboba. I ran across the owner's TikTok video about her journey coming to Canada and opening a Sharetea business only to end up getting scammed.

I don't personally know this lady, but it just hit a nerve to hear about a person coming to Canada getting ripped off after opening her small business here. I know the Beyond group is a good bunch of people so I was hoping you all might help support her rebranded store. Her TikTok username is sueharuharu if you want to see her TikTok summarizing her situation. Here's the store location:

What’s the story of the scam from Sharetea?

Apparently the master franchiser (regional rep) for Sharetea signed the agreement, took 3 years of franchise fees, and ended getting fired by Sharetea. I'm not sure if the rep just kept the money or what, but the Sharetea main franchise then wanted her (the sub franchiser) to pay the franchise fees again. They also delayed shipments of ingredients as well? I don't know the complete details, but she goes on further to explain what happened in her Youtube video.

Holy crap I just saw sueharuharu's TikTok showing her grand opening. Thanks to anyone here who has shown up and supported her business! There was a huge lineup! I am glad to see fellow Calgarians coming around to help out someone who had such an unfair time with her franchise. I wish her and all of you the best.

No problem! I just felt bad seeing a business owner move to Calgary only to get ripped off by a bad franchise deal. Times are tough for everyone lately so it was nice seeing the whopping amount of support. I hope she continues to succeed with her business.

This place came up on my insta feed out of the blue. Didn't know the backstory until seeing this post. Sharetea is definitely not operating right. This is not the 1st I heard them being shady in AB.
