Default Best brand of canned tuna?

This thread should go under Food, but since it's related to working out, I thought it would be more appropriate under Health & Fitness. Anyways..

What are your favourite brand(s) of canned tuna?

My personal favourite has to be Ocean's, but most stores don't carry it, only Safeway & London Drugs do. It's also priced just a little bit higher than the other brands. What about albacore tuna? It's sooooo good, but when it's priced at $4/can, no thank you.

I eat "clover leaf" Yea albacore is good. Try the oceans Albacore snack pack. Perfect for an after work out snack. ~20g protein a package.

Goldseal or no name (both the same-look at the top of the can if you don't believe me).

Ocean's is the best but barely any different then safeway brand...or at least not different enough to warrant double the price.....oh and I think Albacore is nasty, but that's my opinion and I'm a picky eater LOL

Whatever is 88 cents / can at Wal-Mart. Or the 2kg Ocean's chunk light from Costco

If Ocean's made a larger can version of their snack pack tuna that's like very mushy, not flaked, I would buy that so much. The amount of mayo mixed in is just perfect.

    Ocean's chunk light.
If you know how to shop, You can get the stuff for under 80C a can at Safeway.
The solid white albacore is awesome for a treat, cans will periodically go for 1/2 price at Safeway.

light tuna is beleived to be lower in mercury than albacore because the light tuna comes from various species of tuna, often they are much smaller and younger than albacore.

Ofcourse,if you could find a source of small and young albacore, they would be just as good as light tuna....probably taste better, eh?

Because the "fresh" stuff is expensive. I dont know if starkist can be bought over in Canada, but back before everything I ate made me sick I was eating two cans a day and not minding it at all. Not the case with some other brands.
