I think this is a very rare car. Turbo Diesel Sportline...hell I haven't even heard of one of these before.
Looks like a euro model (headlights..) so it COULD be a 5spd manual...
I'm sure Zorro will have some answers
yeap, they had 5spds......but in America.. I dunno..i remember seeing it in my old old W124 catalog..from hong kong
In Europe/Asia there were 5 spd manual W124's but only 700 ever in North America (those were 1986-88 models too).
If that car is a 1990 (with a 94-95 hood and grille update apparently) and if it's a NA car it'll be a 4 spd auto. 5spd Autos were in 94-95.
Seeing as it's a BC plate the car could have come from Japan. Considering a car has to be 15 yrs old (1989) to be in NA, this car would be illegal, if they BS the year, what else do they BS about?
Hope that helps
bh so I was right....I edited 94/95 front end outta my post, I KNEW the cot dyam thing had a 94-95 front end update but was double minded because I couldn't see the grille clearly to see if that shit bendz back or not
Such a tizzight car...mmm...diesel wagon bishes
Thanks guys. This is good news, as I wont be stressing about how I could possibly buy the car
But Zorro, you say there WERE 5 spd W124s 86-88? Are these all diesel, and would any of these be wagons?

From the picture it appears to be LHD. That would rule out the Japan theory.Originally posted by ZorroAMG
