There are probably still a few of them around, but they'd be tough to find. Most of the older subarus were not sold in very large numbers, and are extremely rare now. I heard about a guy in the states putting the driveline out of a WRX into one.

not an easy job, you need to swap a fuel injected turbo engine into a car that was originally carbed. Would be an awesome 1/4 mile car though... a rampage with a T2 and A555 and shelby charger body kit

I've seen a couple rampages with the conversion but they rust faster then they can be enjoyed
