Really though, with the current state of the US they should be selling the plans to China on a "recession need money now" discount. Maybe $88 billion would be a starting point.

The F-22 is a lower cost version of the F-16 according to my sources. So they can make three for the price of one F-16, but technically the old F-16 is a more capable fighter - or so says the little birdie in the wind.
