1988 Toyota 4 Runner base model with roughly 300,000km's on original body and 20,000 km's on rebuilt motor. I have reciepts. This one has the removable fiberglass topper. I have a wack of new parts that I was planning on using to fix up the truck. Such as new hood, new front chrome bupmer with ends, new rear quarter panels, new side mirrors, new signal lights, I have color matched paint, all un-used.

I have recently swaped the rear tail gate that still has the rear power sliding glass. The old one rusted out. Also swaped out the insterment cluster, as the factory one didn't have a tach. I have just swaped out the stock sealed beam headlights for a Eurolight H4 system with new PIAA bulbs. Also just had new front pads put in. Rear brakes are about 90%.

This truck runs excellent, and needs nothing. Starts everytime on first crank. 22RE SFI motor. 5Speed. Not the SR5 model, so no power windows or air. Tires have lots of thread on them still.

I have a stereo system in there now that I will probably remove to keep the cost of the truck down. But I will probably leave the 2 Way Compustar Alarm and starter with keyless entry.

I have spent quite a bit on this truck and hope to at least recouperate some of my costs.
$4,500 obo.

I say sell the parts seperate to make the $$$ and the seld the truck for less or part it out as well.

What year/model is the cluster from? I'd love to change mine.

Are the rear quarter panels new and made of steel or fibre glass?

It looks like that's going to be my best bet by selling the parts seperately.

The Cluster was from a 87 SR5 4runner same with the rear tail gate. Which was $400 alone. Good parts for these trucks can get pretty pricey. I also have a set of factory alluminum SR5 rims 2 with minor curbage. $400

Rear quarter panels are new and made of steel.

When I bought mine I took a look at probably 5 of them, and of the 5 this was in the best condition. The rest of them were all k'd out or tranny problems, or even more cancered out.

A quatilty engine rebuild will run you $2,000 depending on where you get it done.

This truck is extremely reliable, and I might just keep it and do all the work to it. But striped down to truck and motor I'd probably need to get $3000 out of it.

you can try on 4wheeler but you may have to think twice about the price regardless how many k on the motor its still a used engine in everyones eyes.... rebbuilt however many k ago try to sell the engine to whom ever rebuilt it see how much they ll give you i think your prices are nuts but hey GL

Not to dis ya but this what I'm selling mine for .So you can compare what you got to this then figure something out.I could and should ask for more but I want a quick sale.By the way try shopping for deals you got ripped when you bought you're parts My Two Cents.
