Bad Luck With A Maxima

Just my frickin luck, I find a v6 Maxima to race and my car is all high on goof balls :thumbsdow At the moment I have been fiddiling with my manual boost controller, and the level is set to high so when I floor it my boost gauge goes of the scale and I get fuel cut off from the stock ecu.... So this maxima tries to out corner me on a on ramp and I beat him pretty good, and I was pretty impressed considering I can only put 60% throttle...
So we continued on macloed... I thought might as well give it a shot, havnt had a chance to race one sense I bought my car. So I catch back up to him ( he see's me coming ) and we are off he had about 10 car lengths on me when we first started at about 90... I acually started to catch up to him, got to his back bumper then I pushed the gas a little tp much and my car just clunked and I dropped rpm like a mother... Was going to push the gas back in and try to catch back up but realized we where going a 180 on macloed so I would give it up...

Just my luck to find a nice car to race and I am only at 60%

Yes it's nice and all that you got your turbo and what not but I don't think anybody on here is impressed that you're tripling the speed limit ... an unsuspect innocent family could easily be victims of your idea of "maxima aren't that fast" :thumbsdow

dude until your car is actually "fast" or at least "running right," forget about posting kills. That 500hp seems even more far fetched if you are struggling with a stock maxima. Running like shit and not tuned right should still get you @300hp according to your addition! lol

And as for your stupidity in speeding down macleod going 180, I cant wait to read your post about losing control and slamming into a lightpole. Maybe then, you might learn a lesson or two. Keep it at the track jack ass!!!!!

YA I know i shoudnt have been going that fast on macloed, thats why when I realized I slowed down and said it wasnt worth it !
By the way it was far south where the speed limit isnt 60 , it was where it is just about to hit a 100... and we where the only 2 cars

You lost to a 222hp Maxima, not a 255hp one.
At best, you lost to a 2001 227hp 20th Anniversary edition Maxima.
2002 was the first year that the 255hp engine was released in the Maxima.
