If you go to a dealership that sells your brand of car, they can verify you as the owner via ID and such, note the vin, and have new keys for the car made.

Locksmiths can also do this. When you buy a car from the police auctions, they rarely, if ever have keys, but they just happen to have a locksmith there who charges 50 bucks to make you a set. So I know it can be done, but im not sure the exact pricing.
(I think it might be a special price for the auctions) :dunno:

Depending on the car...the cost of getting it done at a dealership...probbaly no more than 30 bucks for a non-chipped key...

but more for a chipped key and prgramming of said key to your whip...BUT if you only need it to get into your door, you would not need it programmed, it just won't start your whip up.

Locksmiths can't program a chipped key, mosts keys are chipped these days.
