I found the perfect car for DIRT cheap and I can't buy it because all the quotes I'm getting are raping me!
Damn it! Cheapest quote I got so far is £2500ish. :banghead:
And the car is only £500.

For everyone who wants to know what it is:

http://img393.imageshack.us/img393/9692/cosworth7ao.jpg
MERCEDES-BENZ 190 2.3 16v Cosworth
D reg. Metallic Gold, e/w, e/s/r, c/l, low miles for year, half leather, half cloth, ABS, full bodykit.

D reg = 1986.
This is nuts! I got a quote for a normal 190E and the first quote I got was £800. I'm sure I can find a cheaper one if I looked. But I can't for the damn cossie!
:bullshit:

What should I do!?! I can't let this go it's such a bargain.

Can you buy it without insurance? Get it and let it sit on your driveway or garage it until you have more time to figure out what to do. If anything, if you cannot keep it, sell it and make a couple bucks.

That is AWESOME. Why so cheap? How many km on it?

Sweet, sweet car. hopefully you can make it work.

Please buy it, if it doesn't work out then sell it, maybe I'll buy it off you and import it over here.

Probably because it's Smoke Silver aka beige. A pearl black 2.3-16 would be 3k pounds....

 I have to mention it's a Cosworth because as soon as I punch in 1986 and 2300cc the only car that come up is the 2.3-16V.

I was thinking about buying it and letting it sit on the driveway but...

I found cheaper insurance!!!
From a heart breaing £2500 to £600!!
I'm going to have to phone the company up and make sure there isn't an error on their online quoting system!

Have no clue why it's so cheap Hakkola. But will have to drive to the guy and check it out to see if it's all good. Don't know how many KM's yet, will phone him tonight now that I have a reasonable quote!

Yea mostly true ZorroAMG, but I could care less what colour it is!
If I had the money I would have bought this, closest I would ever be to an EVOII :

I just renewed mine and I actually got a pretty good deal for it.

$2800 a year for full coverage. I'm pretty happy with that considering I got a quote for $7200.00 back in June of 2003.

I was able to pay it all in one big schalacking which is nice, now I don't have to think about it for 364 more days:angel:
