As a few of you on here now know, the photo bug has bitten, and bitten hard. I am just messing aorund and snapping Automotive pics here and there, and have even gone as far as a couple of photoshoots. These are not posted in any particular order, some were from the first night a couple of weeks back. And some from this past weekend. A few pics can be seen in the September picture thread as well.

I am learing a LOT as I go along. tips from both very, very, VERY paitient friends on here, playing with settings, and taking ideas from different forums that I am a member of.

It's really neat to see how you can take one shot, and by varying the smallest settings on the camera, the pictures can be totally different shots. I am slowly learning and developing an eye for the shots that are kinda...abstract, for lack of a better term. But I hope you all enjoy looking at these pics, as much as I and the "models" loved taking them.

Thanks for taking the time to take a peek beyond. Please feel free to leave postive and negative feedback.

But, who is to say your negative feedback won't get deleted...hahaha, Moderator priviledges ya know??

Before I post, a very special thanks to Derrick, Bernard, Ben, Melinda, Josh for all helping me out, and giving me answers to all the questions I pose.

And thanks to Stevieo, ryder_23, and JAYMEZ_STi for putting up with me for the shots.

The camera is a Sony DSC V3.

Here we go...

He took some, but they didn't turn out thanks to the wind it was blowing the camera back and forth and we couldn't keep it still.

No, no, no...don't call me that...I am no where near the skill levels of Ben, Bernard, Melinda, Derrick, Graham, or Wei. I am just a guy dicking around...those few shots may have turned out great...but you should see my recycle bin for the ones that didn't turn out.

But once again, thank you for all the great comments.

There's a cool course at the U of C I took years ago.
It's called Introduction to Digital Photography. It pretty much teaches you what all the settings on your camera are and what they can do. plus some info on composition and some PS too.
