Does anybody know off hand the fuel economy numbers for the Dodge Ram Cummins Turbo Diesel engines?

I drove one up to Edmonton the other day and I put on 830 km and still had a quater tank left. I guess that doesn't mean much if it has a 120 litre tank or something.

If anybody knows the city km/litre and highway km/litre and also the tank size, throw it on up here, I'd like to look into them.

Oh yeah and I already looked on Dodges website and have done some searching so please don't suggest that.

Thanks!

The second you go over 110kph it sucks back the gas, at 110 I've managed to get well over 1000km out of a tank and it isn't even broken in yet. According to the overhead computer about 19 US mpg or approx 12-13L/100km or 23-24 Canadian MPG. This is on an '05 club cab 4x4. Tank size is 120L.

Man, talk about resurrecting an old post.

Yeah I expected the highway mileage to be around 1000km per 120 litre tank. I was more wondering about city driving, but according to some guys I've talked to it only gets about 700-750km per tank in the city.

It depends on how you drive it. Driving around the city I've managed a best of 17-18 US MPG which is still fairly respectable. Usually equates to just a little less then 1000k per tank, but I've never had less then 800k per tank when driving it in a conservative manner.

Okay thanks, somewhere down the road I could see myself owning one, but we'll see what happens to fuel in the next 10 years.
