I was just wondering, I was suppose to mix skim milk with the protein powder but I didn't have any so I just used 2%. Is that alright?

thanks

It doesn't matter... just gives you a bit more carbs/fat/protein mixed in.

sure...just a bit more fat and slower absorbtion.

It's 'best' to use water to speed absorbtion because casein (found in milk) slows it down. It's not a huge deal mind you. I like PB and milk shakes at night along with some flax seed oil. Mmm. I really need to get back in the gym so I can enjoy such flavours again! :D

edit: leah beat me. jerk.

I use Homo Milk ;) Depends if your bulking or cutting, if you're cutting then stick to skim or even water

I wouldn't say it's that big of a deal. You sound like you are being too careful and hesitant. There's a lot worse things you could be putting in your body than milk regardless of fat percentage. Just chug it back and then go tear it up in the gym and you'll be fine.

Dont sweat it, I just wouldn't make it a habit, you take in extra fat.

THe only problem is the sugar and calories in OJ, I go with like half OJ half water with vanilla protien.

Okay you need to do some serious searching through the past health/fitness discussions. There is tons of info within Beyond.
