Next week is the UofL clubs rush week (Sept 12-16) and I'm one of the people representing the Climbing Club.
We have a good facility down here in Lethbridge over at the Ascent Center, and this semester we will be climbing 3 nights a week.
*****I'd like to stress that experience is not nessesary *****I joined up in my first year and haven't looked back. Its great for people new to town or the University to meet new people, and get some good exercise (its alot more fun than running on a treadmill).
Also we take two trips a year down to the US (California and Nevada) and we have a begginers climbing competition, and everyone always has an awesome time.
Rush week takes place in the Atrium down in UHALL right across from CJ's from 9-3:30, we'll have some gear on hand for you guys to check out. Also we'll be playing a bunch of climbing videos and DVD's to show you what some really awesome climbing looks like. So stop by and check us out between classes
