hey....after much debating and consideration, i am selling my car. i still want to keep it, but i have a deal lined up on a wicked car for a wicked price, so i have to sell my baby....
1981 Honda Prelude
The Good:
1.8L 4 cylinder carbeurated
5 speed
power sunroof (that i must say is HUGE!)
new seat covers, new shift knob (red with c/f insert)
runs like a dream
The Bad:
Needs suspension (only one side); refer to http://forums.beyond.ca/showthread.php?s=&threadid=98622
it needs:
front stabilizer bar
front control arm
rear shock
rear spring
and an alignment
this is a sweet car. i loved it, never gave me even a hint of a problem. this car does not leak oil, doesn't do anything that it shouldn't. it was owned by a mechanic before me, and the oil has been changed every 5000k or less. the body is in somewhat rough condition, but if your looking for a winter beater, or even a project car, don't overlook this.
i paid 800 for it when it worked, asking 400 OBO.
pics will be up either later tonite or tomorrow, depending on when i get my brother's camera over to my place.
