i'm jsut wondering if there are days where race city is open fo rme to pay so i can drive around in circles so that i can tune my car.

i just need a big stretch of road where i can hit the top of forth gear legally. rather than doing it late night on empty highways.

Thanks

You sure can, will be pretty pricey if you want it all to yourself though ;)

AWD for the win.

Kenny can you help provide me with more info, times, dates, and prices? ball park i won't need it by myself as long as i can drive from speeds of 10kms to 180kms. varying often with lots of stop and go for about 30minutes to 1 hr.

Don't be lazy. Call Race City.
www.racecity.com

Rental is based on 1/2 day or full day.
Full track and half track.

Ambulance is required (don't forget to add that in)

I bet that the price of the ticket would be the same as a half day rental with ambulance. Hire a pregnant women and drive the direction of the hospital on the deeroot extension, should be able to hit 180 on there and if you get pulled over you can say your wife is in labour.

Keep it on the track of course.

1/2 day costs around $2k last year (weekday). Prices went up this year though.

I was gonna say a dyno would be a fraction of the cost but you're AWD. Any such dynos in Alberta yet?

you can rent race city's gravel parking lot for like $100 a day...

(or you can pay $1200 a day for the oval.)

http://www.racecity.com/upload/documents/2005_track_rentals.doc prices.

hrmm rent the parking lot i don't think ther'es room to do the upper end of my powerband. Also if i rented the parking lot wouldn't driving around on it like i would be considered stunting haha

ya there is no AWD dyno in alberta as of yet and I can't see of any in the near future.

the closest one i believe is a 5 day cruise or so down to portland.

the only place you'd get that is on the front straight of the roadcourse...which would cost you a pretty penny.

Yep. I didn't know u can rent just the north section. That'll work well for tuning. Also says call for race car tuning rates, I suggest a call to see what that's about.

maybe we can request a group rate if there's others that wanna tune their ecu/piggy backs or over testing of somethign in ur car in a semi-controlled environment?
