View Full Version : Hockey Broadcasts, cbc?

Hey, just wondering if the hockey broadcasts, (particularly cbc), starts this week with the preseason or if I have to wait until the regular season to watch games.

Does the cbc labour strike affect the NHL too? whats the nhl without HNIC?:eek:

and when have pre season games ever been televised?

same thing that happened to the french cbc stations few years back...they brodcast without brodcasters...its like being there at the game, you here everything...on ice talk...fans...its kinda cool

i heard OLN ch. 44 will also broadcast them. (dunno, if its us or cdn)

OLN (Comcast) will televise games for the US only, as ESPN is no longer broadcasting any NHL games.

I know a cameraman for CBC Sports, and he said that there will be a deal done days before HNIC starts. No Chris Cuthbert though. Should be another great season of listening to Bob Cole stumble over his words.

From the 2004 Playoffs: "Kiprusoff shoots the penalty down the ice." :dunno:

Answer your question? It's been a long time since I've watched hockey so I couldn't remember when they start airing games because prior to this I never cared about preseason, but I need hockey asap.
