i'm looking for brake pads for a Silvia Q. from what i understand the rear pads are same as the 240sx. not sure which pads fit the front calipers. i've heard everything from a altma to stock 240sx pad. any ideas?

theres no crossover part for the front, you can either replace the fronts w/pads from japan or replace the calipers
Yea... that's pretty much what I was fearing too.

really i never knew the front calipers on the silvia were diffrent? Wouldint Autodream, speedtech, jdmsource someone like that carry stuff like that or atleast be able to get it
I'm sure they can get it, but it's also probably expensive. I'm going to be upgrading the calipers/pads to something domestic, most likely the 300ZX Z32 calipers.

i've been doing a bit of research on silvia front braking system. from what i read the STOCK Silvia Q front calipers share the same pads as the north american 240sx. the STOCK silvia K front calipers/rotors are different. SR20 silvia K front brakes share the same pads as the mid 90's altima/maxima. ca18det silvia k front brakes are different as well. not sure which pads they interchange with. confusing as hell but took a ton of time to get this info.
With that siad on my silvia Q, it has a set of brand new project Mu front brake pads so i won't be changing them for awhile. when i do i will probably upgrade to maxima/altima calipers/rotors.
