Here is some scoop on Terminator 4. According to John Brancato, the "people" are thinking about a new character that would carry on the franchise since Arnold Schwarzenegger cannot carry the franchise anymore. According to Brancato he is thinking of a "pretty novel approach" on how the new terminator would be like. On some more bit Nick Stahl and Claire Danes are expected to be in the Sequel since they are committed to it, but it will depend on the studios if the want them to be in it or not. So, i guess thats about it, we can expect Claire Danes as John Connor's Wife and Nick Stahl as John Connor himself if Studio Permits.

In November 1999, producers Mario Kassar and Andy Vajna announced that they would produce two more sequels to the Terminator franchise. Set in the future, Terminator 4 will chronicle the events that transpire after a nuclear war.

Not another terminator movie....that movie should've terminated after number 3......I don't know why hollywood kept making sequal after sequal....

sorta remind me of an episode of Simpsons(or was it FutureRama) where they made a joke about sequals (Rambo 27??) or something.....

Impossible. How ever good he looked in 3, you do sense he got old. And an andriod getting old doesn't feel right.

If 4 is in the future, the teminators can go without the human skin, hence Arnold not required.

Yeah, i read that it's all new actors, it's farther in the future so no Nick Stahl and claire danes, which makes me happy, because I can't see him as a future john conner.

Terminator with skin would be required if they chose to do the story of the death of john conner, and it would have to be arnold. Maybe they could use the arnold look alike from the documentary they did on him.

Right, forgot about that. May be they'll ask the people @ Square-Enix and do Arnold in CG.

When T3 came out and all the talk was buzzing about a T4 I heard rumours that they might get Vin Diesel to be the Terminator for T4. Alot of critics think he'de do a good job based on his Pitch Black/Chronicle's of Riddick role.

i loved the series but T4? i think 3 is enough...T4 would just be T1 technically, because the war started already (rise of the machines) and they send a terminator back to the 80s before john connor was born and the cycle starts with terminator 1. hahahaha yeah im a geek  :nut:

Not quite - SkyNet has to first develop a time machine, and if you remember Terminator 1, it has to go through quite a few models of Terminators before it reaches the T-500 model that is Arnie... :D

It's T-800 for T1 and T2, T-850 for T3.

No way man, they need to make one set in the future, that's what I was hoping T3 would be.

YEAH! I was wondering the same thing. I just saw T3 for the first time on TV the other night.

It would make sense now that T4 would take place during the actual war. If so, the future story would be about how they could alter the future. Arnie tells John Conner in T3 that the machines win the war in the end. So NOW, with everything they know and everything Arnie's told them, maybe they can alter the future that T3-Arnie tells them about. Maybe the machines can be defeated.

Sounds cool! But who'd play Arnie's part as the T800?

Because it makes money.

Budget : $175,000,000 (estimated)
Gross: $427,600,000 (Worldwide) (29 December 2003)

Haven't even added DVD, PPV, Cable Networks (HBO/MovieCentral), Networks, Merchandising, etc.

I dunno about you, but I wouldn't mind making 250-300 million bucks.
