ruptured eardrum

Yesterday when I jumped off that swinging rope thingy at the wave pool, I tried to do a front flip and obviously didn’t get much of a rotation and I did a sideways face smack into the water. It felt like someone threw a TV at my face. Anyways I think I ruptured my eardrum because now I can’t hear much from my left ear anymore :( . It also statrted to hurt last night but the pain was gone by morning.

Now I'm wondering if I should get it checked out or just wait for it to heal on it's own?

Wouldn't hurt to get it checked out IMO.

I'd wait a few days, I had a few problems with my ears from getting hit in hockey.

Wait until say Thursday morning, and if it's still giving you problems then go. Thursday morning probably isn't too busy of a time and it might just feel better by then.

Hearing is a shameful thing to waste. I would go get it checked out asap.
