I was on 16 ave NW, and I saw this black integra. It had these ugly taillights that were solid white. To add to this waste of a beautiful vehicle was this light up type-r emblem slightly to the right of the Acura emblem. The interior was 'tastefully' done with some Mugen stuff! Poor little teg :(

DO NOT call it a Type-R.
Canada only got the CW & the Phoenix Yellow Type R's.
All of the other colors are fake!

Doubtful, but someone could have drove one up here.

Yep the 'type r' thing was kind of a joke. He tried to make it so blatant that he had a type-r with his fair sized glowing type-r emblem on the front bumper. :nut:

At school, in maybe, October or something...This lady (had to be in her late 30's at least...most likely over 40.)
was driving a CW type R, and im PRETTY sure it was a real Type R, it had the Front bumber, Rear bumber, Side skirts, Type R emblems, no rice, Type R rims, Type R spoiler, and RED interior (seats). Pretty accurate conversion for an older lady. I was like, Whaaaat the fuccck?
There's a Pheonix Yellow Type R conv in calgary, i saw it a few weeks ago in China Town.
But yeah, the Black type R's weren't made in the same numbers as the CW and PY, so its pretty unlikely that that was a Genuine Flamenco pearl black type R.
I saw a white type-r being driven by an older lady as well.
Also saw another real one driven by a younger girl, but she put on some naaasty rims. Like american racing rims or something like that....

Many years ago, when the Integra Type R came out, there used to be this one I used to see all the time at the U.
It had the 'Type R' decals in the 3 spots: back-right, and both sides just after the front wheel.
Thing is it was BLACK and had 4-lug bolt pattern on the wheels.
I wasn't even a fan of imports but I knew it was fake. :bullshit:
Who was this person trying to fool?
This was one of my first memorable encounters with 'rice'

There's a lot of minor differences between a Type R and a regular DC2 integra.
The 4 lug vs 5 lug bolt pattern is one of them. Altho its a common conversion, People tend to do the bodywork beforehand.
The Sideskirts, front, and rear bumbers are also different.
This one girl i know, she's kinda dumb.
She said her parents were buying her an Integra Type R for her 16th birthday (Her's is one day after mine...) I was like ...i doubt it.
And she was like, nooooo! their getting it! I saw this one, and it was Blue, and it was SOOO nice, blah blah blah blah.
Pretty funny, everytime i call her on it now she's like, WHat the fuck? huh?

Usually the first thing I notice is the mouldings. or lack of..
Yeah its not that hard, real type-r's pretty much stand out right away.

Negative on that ghostrider
the 5 lug is one difference, but sideskirts, front and rear bumpers are all identical to any other integra.
The ITR only comes with an additional OEM Honda front lip

Someone told me that the mirrors are different on a integra type-r versus lower models. I think that's BS, but just to be sure does anyone wanna clarify this..
