Need your opinion....

I had some time off work today so I thought I would do a couple of arrons. Went shopping for exhaust prices and the last stop was Carline on 58th.

First off what I want done is just 3 inch piping from the downpipe to an aftermarket muffler.

First stop was minute muffler on 32nd...they quoted me 180-220$

Then Carline, they quoted me 350-400 for the same meal deal....

Does this seem reasonable to anyone? I seem to think that 350-400 is a little to steep for a 7 foot section of 3 inch pipe and to hang an N1 muffler. I hear a lot from here that Carline does top rate work, So I want them to do it...But If another place that could do it for half of the price and the same quality work then great!

If minute muffler quoted you 180-220$, then why dont you tell Carline they quoted you on that for the same work. Ask them to match it, or at least lower their price a fair bit.
If they do great, if not then get the work done somewhere else because obviously they are ripping you off and dont deserve your buisness.
