Hey guys, I finally got my MR2 Today. After waiting about 2.5 months after I decided to get it, I picked it up today in Calgary. Even though it turns out the clutch needs to be replaced, the rest of the car seems in very good condition inside and out. I imported it personally through Monky's Inc. in Osaka Japan.
Here are the specs

1989 SW20 Chassis MR2 GT
3rd Gen 3SGTE swapped
Aftermarket BOV (HKS possibly)
HKS Mushroom Filter
Tanabe Dual Exhaust
Tein HA Full Coilovers
16" Enkei RPO1
Steering Wheel
Razo Shift knob and Turbo Timer

I think thats it, but its not the end. I already have a 98 Spec JDM Spoiler waiting to be installed, and a set of 95+ kouki tails on the way. This is the start of what I hope is a very fun car.

Ya, they rode pretty good for the whole 5kms I drove before the clutch went. Cant wait to start playing with the adjustment. See how firm they actually go.

Ill be selling the stock spoiler very soon, the rear trunk and spoiler are faded, so Im getting it repainted with the new spoiler asap.
As for price, Ill that I will say is that it was cheaper than what I sold my civic for. Ill get some pics of as soon as the clutch gets in. Its dirty as shit right now.

I live a couple ( like 8) blocks from where your car is spending the night, I was suprised at the condition its in for its age, it looks like it was just rolled out of a showroom. I wish my MR2 sat that low, and had a nice shiny coat of paint.

he always uses the rg looking rims in need for seed underground, plus 1/2 the cars he puts as our wall paper on the computer have them GOD get a set already, well i am not the one to speak, i am obsessed with advan sa3r's

i looked into getting sa3r version twos to replace my version ones and $800 a rim was a wee bit to expensive for 17x8 front and 17x9 back

but ya the rg's are holding value at $2000 for a set over here sometimes more

What clutch did you go with? I got a Spec Stage 1 coming overnight (hopefully)

I still having decided on what rims. Notin just yet, I like the Enkei's on right now. I might paint em either gloss black, or gold. What do you think? The white is starting to grow on me, at first I wasnt a fan.

Theres a slight chance of the clutch actually coming in tomorrow, but if not, car should be on the road Monday.

How do you find it? You went with a T3/T4 turbo kit right?
Right now Im planning on keeping the motor relatively stock, other than a EBC and intercooler, etc.. The Stage 1 can handle 379Ft/lbs of torque, so that gives me plenty of room beofre I reach that.

How did you mount your 98 spoiler? Did you have a template or just eye it?

Just shows good style, thats all. I really dont like the OEM 3 Piece, and the 94-97 doesnt do enough, but the 98 was just right. Could have went with the bomex drift style, but for $91 off ebay, the 98 spec seemed right. It is a replica, but the quality and fit seems good so far.
