whatever man mx-3's are awsome, i admit they're not VR6's but I have beaten James b4 if i recall. Smoked em bad. And and mx-3 with a simple jdm engine swap can eat alot of cars for breakfast. They are good cars. Alot of people are just biased against them.

Flyby is right cuz i was faster, but i am insulted to be reffered to as a ricer! and roll or no roll i still beat you. If we were on the line you would win off the line, but only cuz i drive an auto if i were a 5spd i'd smoke ya off the line too, but i guess theres only one way to find out :D

hahahahahha thats hilarious, spank civics without effort? lol yu make me laugh. the car is only 130hp. w/ a v6. i have no idea where the 170hp came from. granted there is a jdm turbo engine you can swap and itll run pretty quick stock, my friend has one and hit a 14.2 at 11 lbs of boost. thats it, there is alos so many upgrades if your willing to spend some money.
cams, turbo upgrade, ignition, fuel managment and so on.

just had to give my .02 cause i thought it was funny:D

yeah he's right the mx-6 and the mx-3 has the same series engine (K-Series). but if you import the j-spec engine 200bhp, and 170 lb-ft torque. (KL-ZE) you can spank the shit outa civics easy. I'd even take on a type r if i had that engine! But anyways i'll post some pics next saturday once it's done.

yeah i know type r's are fast, i think KL-ZE precidia could give if it run for it's money though. I'll look into it and see if any ZE precidias, have beaten type r's.

maybe i didnt make it clear to you in my first 2 posts. the jdm turbo dohc motor for the precidia is fast!!!!

a type r can run a 15 here. my friends JDM MOTOR IN HIS PRECIDIA ran a 14.2! so obviously a precidia with that swap can beat a type r.

i never said a type r could be a wrx, i said forget the type r AND TAKE ON a wrx!
with that swap, it will be very close if the wrx has any basic mods.

and as for you saying if you had a 200 hp motor you could spank some civics? no shit, give your head a shake, thats 200 vs. 130. who do you think is gonna win?

im waiting for a reply, this should be interesting:rofl:

oh and his motor is 205 hp and 235tq. stock, his car only weighs 2300lbs

Yeah that info sounds abour right. Your buddy has the 4 banger BPT GTR engine. Yeah they're from jspec gtr's i heard those engine are fast. And who are we kidding, most cars can stomp civics. And dude i believe you about the whole wrx thing it makes sense. It would really cool to watch, theres gotta be some videos out there.

With how close ALOT of cars would be, i think it REALLY comes down to the Driver, Videos are basically useless for ditermining(sp?) how fast a TypeR etc.. is, only THAT TypeR is that fast. WRX's, Preludes,VR6's,RSX-S, TypeR's, 5.0 Mustangs,1.8t's, Probe Turbo's, GTP's, ( Leo's Version of a GTP:tongue: ) Etc, Etc, Etc.. can all Fair Pretty Close in a Race, It all comes down to the Driver. Ive Seen alot of these cars Race against each other( in person and videos) and the outcomes have been close sometimes, or one-sided sometimes, it depends on alot of things, car mods, Road/car conditions, Driver, the variables go on.

Can a Moderator split this into another thread?:dunno: since this has taken over Pedro's for sale ad :tongue:

hrmm don't quote me on this but i remember voodoo and ls/vtec hit like 14s? i don't have great memory but i think they hit 14s in their type rs.
with very little mods..i think just intake and exuast?

lol all i have to say is MK2 GTI with a VR6 Swap and about $13000 american spent at a little place called E.I.P. tuning and you can bring on all the precidia's, civic's, and type R's you want :D :bigpimp:

yes the mx3 has a small v6...no its not the 2.5L....yes itll fly if u swap the jdm 2.5 in....yes the kl-ze mx3 is a good car given its lightness, short wheelbase, and quick handling...and NO its not meant for anyone with a pair of testicles.

The only mods he has are Jspec ecu, clutch, phenos, and intake and he ran a 14.3 with street tires. This and the KL-03 from a probe or MX6 are very popular swaps. Get one of these engine and ur set.
