Anyone have this in calgary (NW). And is it worth the extra $10 a month.

And if you upgrade to it how much does the new modem cost to buy ? Can you trade in a motorola modem and how much credit would you get towards the new modem ?

I'm In the Deep Southeast, but It's DEFINATLY worth the extra cake.

I saw a 300% increase in my upload speeds, and roughly 50% increase in Download speed.

I used to have one of the old archaic wave modems, and they took it in and gave me a brand new docsis one free of charge, along with a free month upgrade on the XTREME.

Are you renting the modem or did they upgrade it and you still own it ?

if you own your now, you will own the new one. they should do a swap for free, they did for me. i didnt get a free month though, but damn shaw extreme is FAST. you get the speeds that they actually claim.

i have to have 2 downloads to get 7Mbps down, but usually im getting 5Mbps on one download easy. and upload is the full 1Mbps.

Im in the NW and the different is big! Its worth the extra money in my opinion.

Well worth the dough. I noticed a huge increase in both up and download speeds. Loving it.

Worth it. Fast and give you 50GB limit instead of the 20GB with standard account.

3web probably is cheaper but service during outage probably not as good.

XTREME is definitely worth it... Like Ben I am in the Deep south (for now) and I get awesome d/l speeds, we also had 3 people on one line and it was still fast..

So for the extra $10, its worth it.

Well I don't have the 20gb limit in the first place. Its unlimited for me, they just call if i go over 50gb, but I just tell them to read their fuckign policy my dad signed sayign Unlimited and they say yes and I say whats the problem and they say nothing have a good day :)

Now if I get say 20kb faster uploads, but now limited, wouldnt be worth it.
