go to any news channel in the USA, ccn or even bbc has it.
front landing gear is fucked so the plane is landing on its belly.
should be interesting.

edit. sounds like they are just flying around in order to burn off as much fuel as possible. front landing gear is sideways, rear is fine.
hundreds of fire fighters and ems on standby beside the runway.

Impressive. He stay on back wheels long enough so front won't grind as much.

Still, feel pretty anxious seeing that fire ball at the gear, plowing down the runway. One tough metal column.

That was amazing how straight the pilot kept the plane. Can you imagine how scary it would have been to have to land that thing?

Pilot made a perfect landing. However they practice this kind of thing in simulators all the time so they are pretty used to it. No pilot they talked to on CNN was expecting anything bad to come out of this since they are extremely well trained!

they test planes for stuff like this and grind the shit out of them in testing before putting them out... its great that they made it but lets not forget that the pilot had huge help from the computers keeping the plane stable... REmember, pilots dont really fly anymore, they jsut program the destination and the plane takes off and lands on its own. all they do is increase the engine power at liftoff and decrease to min on landing
