Stolen: My Car (civic hatch "CBU-387")

Hey guys, i regretfully have to tell you guys that my car has been stolen. On friday, September 23, 2005, at 8:10 am i left my car in the Art Parkade at the University of Calgary. When i finished my classes at 4:00, i went into the parkade only to find an empty space where i parked my car. For those of you who know me, i took great pride and joy in my car, and obviously this is a huge loss for me. Please, if you guys see the car around, please call either me or the police. I'll attach my latest pictures of the car, and this is what it looks like now. Unfortunately, the car is probably being stripped for parts as i speak, but i can always have hope. If it doesnt turn up, i'll be in the market for a new ride, so i'll let you guys know!

damnn sorry to hear man, just after i sold u that momo shifter....one of the most obvoius things on the car are the rims...wanna tell me more on what brand and size they are as well as tires? ....i believe that the eaziest way of busting the fuckers is by searching for the rims

As for the Plate/wheels, the plate is CBU 387, and the wheels are 18" motegi MR3s on Toyo Z-Rated Proxes. Yeah i did have an alarm, but nothing happened on the 2-way. This doesnt surprise me though because the building at the U of C dont allow passage of the signal very well.

And by the way, i talked to the u of c parking guys and they said they didnt tow it, and it wasnt at the city impound lot according to the cops. The car is most likely being stripped for parts, but we'll see :):)

Wheels, Tires, Stereo, Front End, Shifter, Cool Air Intake, and all my stuff inside are all gone. If anyone knows anything, please please call the police at 266 1234 and give them anonymous tips.

hey guys, i did have locking nuts on the car, but the wheels were still stolen. Insurance will cover everything that was stolen if i have receipts. I lost the receipts for the Wheels and the Cool air Intake, which really sucks. The whole stereo will be covered, same with the grille, etc.

Thanks a lot for the support guys! The car will probably be written off, in which case i will be getting a new car. Maybe an Audi? who knows, i have no idea :dunno:

Well, as for the insurance, they will cover everything i have receipts for. This is everything except the wheels, cool air intake, and shift knob. I talked to the insurance appraiser on thurs and im meeting up with im tomorrow at A1 Autobody. He says they will even cover the stuff i dont have receipts for (wheels, CAI, Shift Knob) no problem. Obviously this is a good thing. In this situation, i will be making most of my money back, but i loose hundreds of hours of time i spent making the car it was. Everyone who knows me knew that i loved this car a TON, and spent a lot of time on it.

Im not sure about the bait cars. It would be a good idea, because it is quite a problem for people who are interested in our style of cars.

So thats all for now, like i have said several times throughout the thread, if you guys know anything, please give the CPS a call and make an anonymous tip.

the car isnt written off, its going to be repaired and paid for by the insurance company. They still have to do a mechanical check, and if there is anything wrong with the motor, they'll write it off rather than waste time and money. As of right now, though, its still going to be repaired
