View Full Version : K&N vs APEX-i airfilter.

which is better? i had another thread and it kinda died down but someone said that apex-i filters air better then K&N so i was wondering why everyone only uses K&N and i havent really seen a lot about apex-i...

K&N has good brand reputation and a great warrenty. thats why I have one.

They are definitely not all the same, the apex'i offers superior filtration and does not need to be reoiled like the k&n's it also is much stronger and does not break down and warp like the k&n does, it is difficult to use an apexi filter unless a kit is made specifically for your car because the way the filter is designed does not allow for any aftermarket afm adapter of intake piping to be used.

is the apex filter more expensive then the k&n?
also is the apex-i filter washable like the k&n??

ok what about those metal mesh filters? I actually used to have one of those and it felt a little peppier. But I didn't know how to clean it.

JR filters, which are from France, filters better than K&N and offers better performance.
