ok so the dock connects to the usb connection to computer port, but when you wanna charge it does the computer have to been on to use the dock?? or does it charge without the computer on? thanks

I'm 99% sure computer has to be done, since the current runs from the computer to the usb to the dock.

whut 4 buttons??? meaning is ur iPod a mini, cuz the only thing thats specific that i have is the iTrip, and its for the mini only, everything else is for any type of iPod including the nano
