I'm sure some of you have run in to this situation befure. What do you do once you've stripped your parts car clean? I don't think I could get away calling the kidney foundation for a twisted integra shell with no suspension or interior. The car's on jackstands and will have to be put on a flatdeck in order to be removed from my garage.

What have you guys done? Call a tow company and pay for them to take it away? Any names or numbers of places to call would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

he's a nice guy, depending on the car, he'll take it away for cheap.

Kidney foundation just took my civic this week.. The car doesn't have to be together, but must have all the parts with it.. As in you can have it ripped apart somewhat, crap sittin in on the seats, but for the mostpart everything must be with the car.. I took all the fuses and relays out, shift knob, etc.. anything that may be of a little use in the future.. And something I didn't know, if you can drive the car to them, they will sell it and I believe you get the tax reciept for the value they sell it for...

Bill's Scrap Car Pick Up

He will charge you $40 to take it away (cheapest that I could find). This is what I did with my scrap 240. The kidney foundation will only take it if it has wheels and an engine. So if you've sold the engine this is a problem...

Good luck.

Hey Matt, sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. It completely slipped my mind. Anyway, the guy I used - his name is Harry 899-7500. I think he charged between $50 and $60. So it looks like Bill's Scrap Car Pick Up is what you want ^^^

if you know someone with a trailer you can haul it to navajo yourself and probably get $20 for it in scrap steel... the price of scrap steel is high and rising.
