Just like the essay I wrote on APC, kit cars are a whole other bag of crap.
I just hope the owner doesn't forget his "Ferrari" is powered by a 50hp, 30 year old VW engine

*EDIT* I just realized he didn't use the Beetle as his project.... There's still a shiny Pontiac emblem on the steering wheel though. And that's just awesome. :thumbsdow

The lambo is still over $150 000????? Is it replica, the interior looks pretty good.

As for the exterior of the f50 it's a head turner for sure, just throw another engine in there and redo the terrible interior.

I know many people hate "Kit" cars but I honestly don't see anything wrong with it.....most of us will never be able to have the privilege or the capital to ever owning a exoitic.....I think it be cool to have a car like that to cruise around in.....as long as you don't pass it off as the real thing!

But I would just buy a 91 NSX, affordable and sexy looking :D

I've seen a company in the states that takes a fiero, slaps a lambo diablo body on top, and even drops in a Covette drivetrain to boot - looks amazing, and has a lot of balls too. $60,000US. Not a bad price for something that will REALLY get some looks.

it's pretty nice, but the proportions are off. The front and rear lights are wrong, and so are the scoops on the hood.

Shelby Custom uses tube frames. I'd refer you to their site, but they appear to be upgrading it..
