Ecommerce host

I need a really good Ecommerce host.

Needs to have good space and bandwidth - NOT UNLIMITED!

Needs to be a reliable host aswell, one that will keep its promises and always have the staff online and awaiting my questions/problems.

Please list a few, then I will do research on them before I make my final decision.

I'm sure my post is a little late but I wanted to point out that a friend of mine worked at Commerx a while back and something to keep in mind is that they are not a very big company and had their servers in-house. Now that may sound good byt there was no redundant power or internet so if the primary went down so did your site. The last thing he mentioned that I found funny is that there is a sprinkler right above the machines so if there is a fire....well I'm sure you can guess.

Depending on how big you want to go with something you may want your own server. You can get co-location pretty cheap these days. Otherwise I would talk to companies and find out what they do for redundency and get something in writting regarding SLA and what happens if they go down.

My father is a webhost and has his servers inside their datacenter.

They have their own deisel engine backup generator, a ups battery backup the size of a couple hummers, and lots of space :)
