IMO The 4th Gen eats the 3rd gen Rex......If you want a rarer car, go with the Supra. Your RX is nice, but come on, this is most guys " wet dream "

GO FOR IT !!!!!!!!

ps - you lucky bastard

Here are the details on the Supra. It is a 97 anniversary edition. It is Red with tan interior. The car is an auto and currently has 66K miles on it. The car does have the targa top. The car has a clean carfax. I am the 3rd owner. The car has spent most of its life in Texas.

I have replaced most of the interior dash pieces with new ones. The interior of the car is in very good to excellent condition (8.5 out of 10). The seats are in excellent condition for being almost 9 years old...the driver bolster has a little wear but no cracks. The car is fully loaded and everything works perfect. The AC blows ice cold and yes the cruise control still works.

I have added a Greddy boost and egt gauge on the A pillar. I have replaced the stock clock with a transmission temperature gauge. On the steering column I have mounted a AEM air/fuel gauge that is connected to the AEM wideband. I have replace alot of the hoses under the hood with new ones from Hose Techniques. I have replaced the stock rubber upper radiator pipe with a new polished one from Greddy. The wheels are basically brand new. They are only 1 month old. They are 18X8.5 upfront and 18X9.5 in back. The tires are BFG's purchased 1 month ago...245's up front and 275's in back. I repainted the caliper and added new supra emplems to them.

The exterior is in pretty good condition (7.5 out of 10). It does have some rock chips and a couple door dings (4 or 5). The dings could easily be removed by a paintless ding removal company and with a little touch up paint the rock ships would be gone. The stock front bumper has been replaced with a Stillen front bumper. I am currently trying find a stock red front bumper. I like the way the exterior looks stock and stock fits better. The hood in the picture has been replaced with a stock red hood. The hood was repainted, by the person I got it from, and currently has some orange peel that needs to be wetsanded and polished out. I may have this taken care of by time I sale or trade the car. I will take some additional pictures of the car with the stock hood tomorrow or Saturday.

The car has the following performance modifications:
It has a PI 3800 stall, HKS 264 cams, new valve stems, crowler springs and retainers, RMM Downpipe, Apexi GT Exhaust, MZM air intake, Apexi SAFC, Apexi ACVR, 2 tranny coolers and external filter, Blitz FMIC, HKS SSQV BOV, and a HKS FCD. The car is permanently setup for TTC.

Right now the car is making great power, probably 400 to 425, and pulls hard all the way to redline. The car has gone 12.2 @ 113 mph on a pretty crappy track.

I couldnt care less if it is in an auto , I would put a different 6 speed tranny in for about 5 grand.

If you have the cash to blow on the tranny swap go for it. Those things are pure beasts, only Japanese wheels I would take over that is an R34.

Def do the trade...such a rare find and the car is a dream car for probably half of the beyond.ca member base.

I really like both cars but Supra's are so rare that it's really a no-brainer. I would take a real careful look at the car first though as some of the comments like "I have replaced most of the interior dash pieces with new ones" & "The exterior is in pretty good condition (7.5 out of 10). It does have some rock chips and a couple door dings (4 or 5)." worry me as to how well this car has been taken care of. Sounds like you may have to invest in a complete new paintjob but if that's the worst of it there's no doubt that owning a Supra TT would put you in pretty exclusive company. Not a bad dilemma to be in at all.:D

haha you actually have to think about this decision??

on a side note, i will be mk4 shopping this winter!

for the interior parts he might be talking about the dash trim peices that surround the guage cluster and move down the center console.
