Say you're looking @ a car and the owner doesn't have insurance on it, but their plate is on it and you're test driving it, manage to get pulled over somehow, who gets the no insurance ticket? the owner?

My insurance policy covers me for cars that I drive but don't own. Now does my policy cover me in this situation or will it only apply if the car already has its own insurance?
