The new Black 2006 Honda Civic DX-G has arrived Corwfoot Honda. It is an automatic, fully loaded 4 door model. I tried it this evening.

If it's a DX-G, it ain't fully loaded......

Initial test this R18 engine is dyno'd to have 138HP @ the wheel and around 8-8.5s 0-60 with a manual.

Only 1.

It has power windows, keyless entry, MP3/WMA player,.........
But the trunk is really small, it it smaller than the last version.

It seems to say it made 136.3/132.8hp.. but thats still really good. The engine must be underated or the drivetrain loses are less than 3% lol

I think (don't quote me on this) that the new SAE power rating include the loss induced by the power steering. So it's underrated.

That would make a lot more sense. Its kind of rediculous having to guess how much power your car is actually making. This will be detrimental for models that are coming out and appear to be making less power than their predecessors.. this is because most consumers are uninformed about drivetrain loses and power ratings.
