Hm....
the H22a1 is not 200hp, it is only 190hp
and the H23a is not the JDM Accord motor.
H23a is the non-VTEC Prelude motor.

I wonder if you can drop a H22a1 into a 5th gen engine bay?

but aren't these jdm motors?? cuz the h22a1 is the usdm one... which is 190hp the jdm h22a i think its 197hp im not sure anymore haha
you can drop an h22a1 in a 5th gen but u need to have a changeover from obd1-obd2 i think...

Yes, you can Kevin, its a perfect match to your tranny, just need a OBD 1 ecu. They won't work on a 5th gen with ATTS though.

You can run it on a OBD 2 ecu, just need to move sensors off your old motor onto the new one.

I believe you can
IMO.. you'll probably want to fix up a lot of things on a 90 teg. for starters, the brakes: change to 5 bolt pattern, just for peace of mind.. cuz that's a lot of horses in that baby... and i think you need to switch to hydraulic clutch since the 90 was cable. Correct me if i'm wrong guys.:thumbsup:

Just to clear some things up with some of you, if they are selling the H22a not H22a1 then it is 200hp and it probably is since its a JDM motor, there is a H23a Vtec it comes in the accord SIR-T 220 hp but I dont think thats the one they are selling, but there is a JDM twin cam for the accords but its not a H23, Yes you can drop the H22a1 into the 5gen, 90-93 accord, 94-02 accords and 4th gen ludes straight drop since its based on the same chasis. Just like the H22a4 will drop into the above listed same with Fseries motors. And yes the B18c will fit into the 90-93 DA integra, but if you upgrade your stock rollers you should be fine but 5 lug would be nice
