Anyone looked at this in person yet?? Seems to be a good deal for a 7" touchscreen GPS only $399.

Opinions??

Its not "name brand", thats the only reason I can think its 399...

Looks good tho, one of the nicest borders/button combos yet!

EDIT:

MacVision is there manufacter, here is there site:
www.macvision.com

Just did some quick research, it is using the Navteq software, found at www.navteq.com . Take a quick read there, I was impressed by what they said/pictures.

Go here for a brief demo:

Red Flag Deals also lists it:

a) the thing is fucking HUGE compared to the other portable GPS's out there, if I'm gonna put that on my dash then I might as well blindfold myself while driving.
b) you need to find somewhere to place the antenna, it comes with a long cable and you can route it somewhere and lead it to your trunk or something but I don't really feel like ripping the carpet out of my car so I think I'll pass

the only thing that i think that this unit does not have is .. if you go offroute it wont tell you how to go back on route.

worst case scenario is that it sucks and you can always take it back.
