Ok.
Sorry to bother everyone AGAIN...but...i need your suggestions and help with something.

I've decided Saving has been the best way to go. I've noticed, its still very hard to save money these days.

I was at Subway today, and was flipping thru MotorWorld, Volume 8, Issue 3.
On page Y5, there's a ZRauto add, and a Red 1991 MR2 Turbo for sale. 5 Speed, pwr everything, cruise, CD casette, a/c. 1 year warrantee. 149,000 KMS. 11,900 dolla.

I checked on the site, and it wasn't there, but then again, more than half of the cars in the magazine weren't there, so im thinking their just too lazy to put up their inventory.

Now, this car, i COULD actually afford.
Worst case: it would have to sit in my garage till im almost done paying it off, More likely, my dad would drive it around, and pay for the insurance, while i payed for the car.

What should i do?

A)Call the dealership, and seriously look into the MR2, if its still there.

B)Continue saving for the future.

Thanks for your help everybody
-Darren

Save up a few more grand and track down a 93+ MR2

I've seen a few other 91 SW20's going for 17,000, 19,000...
21,000 (that one had a lot of mods on it) etc.
hmmm
I dunno

I want to save, cause i know that would be a better option.
Its just damn hard to.

check it out. Probably a non-turbo but who cares its a sw20. But there probably is somethign wrong with it so if you are wondering bring it to a mechanic and get it checked. Could end up with a sweet ride for a sweet deal. Than you can finally laught at me and my civic, ha ha ha. But if you want to check it out by yourself (without the influence of your parents) pm me and I can probably go check it out with you.

How about you enquire about how much your insurance is? Once your dad realizes how much a liability you are, he might not even decide to cover you unless he really loves and you really want to spend half your money on insurance per month!

Anyway, 93+turbo is the only way to go!

To save up the 11900, would take me a while longer, and most likely, the car would not be around. But yeah...saving seems good...

The 93+ Got a beefening of the chassis or something. There were 2 or 3 main modifications that made the car a lot better.
Unfourtnatly, i havn't seen very many 93+'s for sale...mainly 91's, 86, and 87's.

As for the insurance, My dads with some gay Engineering company for it, so i would have to go to them directly for a quote and blah
I dunno, saving is definitly a good option.
just its SO DAMN HARD :(
