1987 Honda Prelude 2.0Si
5 speed manual transmission
2.0L Si engine with 255,xxx KM
Power windows
Power moonroof
2 fullsized spares in the trunk (has rubber, but needs new ones)+ the doughnut
Pros:
- All black mint interior
- Seats are in perfect condition, no rips at all
- Two brand new tires, 50% left on the other two
- Power moonroof and windows work nicely
- Popup headlights work great, both bulbs working
- 5spd tranny shifts PERFECTLY in every gear, no grids
- 2.0Si engine runs VERY strong
- Body rust has been sealed
- Heat blows HOT, and all other options work awsome
- Decent battery
- Doesn't burn oil
Cons:
- Subframe connector on drivers side is bent, does NOT affect drivability at all
- Passenger side mirror is missing and the driver's side one is kind of duct taped on. heh.
- Probably needs a new ebrake cable (might be loose, I don't know)
- Needs brakes (they'll do for now, but it'd be in your best interest to put some new ones on) and CV boots.
- Definately no spring chicken in the looks department
The previous owner said that "the car is awsome for winter. Started everyday last year without being pluged in. Really fun to drive espically with the 5spd tranny!" I believe him cause I picked this up in Calgary less than 2 weeks ago and dropped some money into it.
Reason for selling, my friend actually decided to let go of his beater so I want that instead. I'm letting this go for less than what I picked it up for and what I invested into it.
I brought it to Kal-Tire to get an aligment done and they confirmed that th subframe is bent, but not twisted so apparently that's a *huge* bonus (still safe to drive).
This car gave me absolutely no troubles coming back from Calgary and it's engine and drivetrain are in remarkable condition -steering wheel doesn't shake, no sounds, smoke or anything. The only thing you'd need to do is give it a good oil change and fix/replace the CV boots, a couple other suspension parts and brakes. Seriously, I can't stress enough what great condition the engine/drivetrain's in. The only reason why it's so cheap is cause it's kind of ugly and the subframe thing (cost to fix: $400).
I'm asking $800.
note1) Yes this is the same car that mad$ella was selling a couple weeks back.
