I was thinking of doing this awhile back but I'm still unsure if I want it in my car. If anything, I'd do a little in the trunk to add to the I.C.E.

Has anyone added neon to their interiors and if so, how involved is it to install? Is there a lot of electrical know how required?

mostly just 2 wire setup, one ground and one power, some have cigarette lighter plug ins:)

Where would you connect the power cable if I'm running it in my trunk?

to the light that turns on when you open your trunk. That is what most people do. There should be a wire running to the light so just cut into that. Then ground the other one.

I'd connect a relay to the trunk-open light so that you don't risk blowing fuses depending on how many lights you use and what the current draw of those lights are.

No way cigarette lighters are way to hack. power one side, relay ground to the other off of the neg. trigger side of the trunk light.

you can still use the lighter as the power source

if you have an amp in your trunk just hook its up to the power input + and- from the battery

Those LED lights bars from spoilers work exellent for interior lighting. i have two mounted under my dash in my truck and both are over 1 foot long, the have lots of light to them, but only come in red
