Alright, so my car threw a CEL code 8.
I read a lot of threads on Honda-Tech.com and almost all of the problems that were solved ended up being a loose wire.
So I was wondering, I talked to a bunch of mechanics, and they said that I'd have to replace my entire distributor, whcih they said was 600$. Yae that's bullshit, obviously, but I was wondering if anyone could help me or show me a picture of a distributor on a 97-01 prelude, and what wires I should look for to see what's loose or not.

That would be really appreciated, thanks.

code 8 is ur TDC sensor, its under the ignitor and coil in the distributer, I would check the gnd on ur thermostat housing to see if its loose, thats causes wierd shit to happen

I'm kind of a noob at this, what should I be looking for?
What does it look like and where abouts is it in the car?
I have no clue where my ignitor coil is.
Also, what is a GND?

GND = ground
It'll be black and either Grounded (connected to the frame/something connected to the frame, or to your negative battery terminal (probly not))
