i know its the different years and different front bumper, but what else is different?

This varies on what car you are talking about. These are Japanese terms that can be applied to any car to describe it.

Zenki = First Generation
Chuki = Second Generation
Kouki = Third Generation

zenki = sohc
chuki = dohc
assuming you are talking about s13 240 (swap and whatnot)

Glove box, interior, the seats, material, oem wheels, hatch back the rear seat belts, power steering is on different sides between the models, chuki come with VLSD
