This 1999 comes fully loaded with every imaginable option, inluding heated and air conditioned seats.

The overall condition of the truck is good (has some scratches on the front and rear bumbers). The engine is excellent, as it was replaced less than 15K ago and there is about 70% tread on the tire. The 17" Chrome rims are all in excellent shape as there are no scratches or curb rash.

Asking $17900 obo

PM me if you have any questions, or you can call me at 399-7209

how come the engine was replaced?

the engines in the ~99 era of the escalades weren't very strong and had some oil pickup issues as far as I recall, there were many warranty issues with them, and they are on the US #1 list of unreliable vehicles...

Probably why its so cheap, these vehicles have got a bad / gangsta / fuel guzzler rep - but after all the issues were dealed with, these are not bad vehicles! I've seen a few of them sell for this (ish) price around town, people have put some decent off road tires on them and used them as an everything vehicle with nice luxury happiness inside :)

That's not true at all.

It's a standard GM 5.7L found in all their trucks, and sister truck the Yukon Denali.

They get better gas mileage than the 5.3 litre and the 6.0 litre.

17mpg in the city 23mpg on the highway (the newer denalis etc. were AWD and got about 8mpg in the city, and 15mpg on the highway)

The only downside is the power. It only pushes out 255hp.

The only flaw is the L.I.M. which all GM engines suffer from.

Yes I noticed that full tank will get me about 650KM on the Highway and it takes about 90L

Are those current pics or pictures when the truck was new?

The reason I ask is that the interior pic has the dealer plastic still on the floor and it seems odd that there would be absolutely no wrinkles in the leather that has been sat on for 208k.

No when I had the interior detailed the shop put that plastic stuff down and the seats are in excellent shape but it's hard to tell from the pictures but they do have stress marks on them like all seats after a while.
