All the Honda enthusiest always said the one and only wheel Rota NEVER in a million years would copy was the Mugen M7's.

They're a classic, they're perfect.... and now there copied

:dunno: good or bad?

Not really sure if thats a good thing or a bad thing..... cause I recently have been looking for some 5 bolt M7's but there just so damn expensive and impossible to find.... and now everyone can be a balla :bigpimp:

www.jdmland.com ... they had some 5 bolt m7's.

But I agree... theyre going too far... although i would still rather own legit wheels, there are just waaaay too many people with replicas now. The m7 is an amazing wheel, thats a damn shame the copied it

i dont get the jdm wheel thing.. sure there are a few nice /mugen wheels. but most of them, like these ones, are ugly as shit and look like stock, and sometimes even like steelies with different shaped holes

^:werd:

Ithink they're really plain lookin and lack style. sum fugly rims; looks derived from stock truck wheels

Im actually sort of hoping they make some old school style rims for corollas at datsuns. The Konig rewinds and work equips are really all that is out there for brand new rims and theyre getting played out fast.

there's nothing wrong with rota wheels.

if people want to spend their money on the higher priced wheels, so be it. doesnt make any difference to me.

manila, philippines...LOTS of rotas because theyre locally manufactured. theres this one street there (evangelista St, makati, philippines) where ALL along that street are car and wheel shops. they had some white rota circuit c10s with the mugen mf10 printed on them LOL they look IDENTICAL to the actual ones, but i thought that would be a little tacky. haha but for 300-500, you cant go wrong! lol

Where is a good place to buy rota wheels?

JordanEG6

custom auto sells them, i think speedtech started too also.

i get mine from the philippinnes, as stated numerous times in this thread. its alot cheaper to get them from the source, because they are manufactured there and their money is 45 to a CDN dollar.

Not as of Nov 2005. Rota Manufacturing plant is no longer operational in Manila.

In Manila Rota is only used as a replacment wheel. The guys that race and drive around will opt out for name brand wheels and ofcourse they pay a fortune since it must be exported in.

oh okay. damn...well none the less, philippinnes has LOTS of rota distributors with sets for 'a steal of a price'. most of which are all in one street :nut:

Yes, Speed Tech Racing Development sells Rota wheels now. another local dealer is My Tires Inc. I found subydude.com has the best prices after S&H and they cover for customs and duty across the border.
