ok this is my first winter with a bike, basically i need to know how to park it for the winter. what do i have to do to maintain the engine. you know the basics.


also on a side note i want to get a exhaust for the bike when are the good sales, right now or in the spring. i would assume right now, but you never know

Make sure the coolant is up to spec if it is liquid cooled, I like to either put in fuel stabalizer and run it thru or drain it completetly so you don't gum up anything.. I also like to get the tires up off cold cement... Lube up your chain good, if chain driven... etc..

Change your oil as well.
Wash your bike
Put it up on stands if you have them
Lube Chain
Fuel Stabalizer
Battery tender

don't forget to change out your summer air for winter air in your tires!!

also, check the muffler bearings and blinker fluid...

As for pipes, call around. All shops are different.

If you dont have both front and rear stands, you gotta roll it every once in a while so you dont get flat spots on your tires.
