2. is there a simple and cheap way to get rid of a few small rust spots on a car?

1. prey-lude.
2. on an older car grind it out, apply your rust killer, bondo, primer, paint. on a newer car you could do that but be careful and take extra time.

1. I and all of my friends say Pre-Lude (kind of like the sell-icka or sel-eeka for celica, selleeka)
2. Do what L8Braker said but if they are holes: cut them out and weld in a new metal piece. Or you can cut out and fiberglass over the hole but i recommend welding in metal.
