$1700 US (including the ceremic plate)

http://www.uscalvary.com/Productinfo.aspx?productID=7964&TabID=1

I believe you can get the carrier shipped to canada without custom inspection, however, you would have to find a merchant here that sells the ceremic plate and insert it yourself...either way you are looking at a 4 digit cost for a halloween custom.

Oh I forgot...this is another site where you can order your armor carrier...They have 24 hrs online support, excellent selection and speedy delivery....
(pretty cheap in my opinion too)

http://www.lightfighter.com/istar.asp?a=3&dept=ARMOR&class=TACTIC

if you look further into their selection, I think you can order battering ram as well....

Yeah, wearing them is kinda crummy, I wear my work one over 12 hours a day, it grows old real fast....

i'll make him one for 500 bucks. no warranty, and i take no responsibility for user error or improper installation. Nor will i be liable for any personal injury/death in case it's used for something other than halloween apparel.

Unless you are in the field where you would be expecting a lot of gun shooting, wearing a bullet proof vest is absolutely useless and retarded.

If you are wearing just for one day of a year, I can't justify the spending of 4 digit as well...

So if your buddy wants to look like a cop or some sort, he be better off renting custom through some custom shops.

Try Seals Action Gear there in Calgary.

You can buy an armour carrier that has foam in it, and looks (pretty close) to the real thing. Cost was $80, last I saw.
