a lot of his trick is just endurance. A lot of it just a set up with staff as random people and camera work.

david blaine is insane, did you see the episode where he went up to a bum on the street, grabbed his coffee, shook it a bit and it turned from a hot cup of coffee into a cup full of coins infront of the freakin camera

that was so insane

The pushing through "liquid" glass trick was pretty obvious. The two helpers who held up the paper were part of his crew as was the "shop owner" who went inside with him. This wasn't a random store he picked; it was actually prepared beforehand. The glass was solid but it actually extended down into the wall and the lower part had a hole cut in it which was large enough for Angel to squeeze through with a bit of limbo work. Notice how Angel "forgot" to take his shoes off after the store owner went inside. This diversion gave his helper time to slide the glass up while Angel removed his shoes. He had to tear the paper carefully to avoid showing the edge of the hole and he took his time straightening his clothing after he stood up to give his helper time to lower the glass again. This trick was obvious.
