so my POS jetta dicided it would be fun to strand me yet again.
the problem this time?
all the bolts holding the cv axle into the transaxle came loose and the axel fell out of the tranny.
WTF???:dunno:
i can't win

Do you think that it's possible that the bolts fell off because of someone's mistake? If so, take it back to the shop you repaired your brakes at and ask them to fix it themselves...

i was thinking about it.
when i had my brakes done, i had the axle seals (seal btwn axle and tranny) done as well.
the axle came out of the tranny, so it makes me wonder.
i'm going to get a closer look tommorow and see if that was the cause, or it was something unrelated.

if you want i can take a look at it, i do that kinda stuff everyday. then you can go raise shit over some moron that didnt do his job properly. :guns: :guns:

thanks for the offer man, but i wouldn't want to bother ya.
its only 6 bolts and shouldn't be an issue (i HOPE thats all it is).
then it is time to find out why my damn axle wasn't secured in the first place.
hahaha, that car is a gem dude, you drive 'er hard, hehehehe

well, the jetta has REALLY managed to piss me off this time. i think i'll just scrap the damn thing :banghead: :bullshit:
