That's right, a Volvo Cross Country:
Looks good from the front:

But it's butt ugly from the back and sides:

Anyway, I would've much preferred if they saved about 15-5 grand and bought a Lexus IS300 sportcross, WRX wagon, Audi A4 3.0 Quattro Avant or Volvo V40. Naturally though, parents don't give a shit what thier kids say even if they know 5 million times more about the subject than them :confused:
Oh well, I'll have some fun with it flying through that 5 speed geartronic :D
It has the 197 HP/210 Tq turbocharged and intercooled 2.4 DOHC 5 cyl. with CVVT, not a bad powerplant.

next door neighbour has the same car...
too bad him and his wife don't know how to drive. his wife was backing it out of the garage and scratched and dented up the whole side of it.
nice cars though IMO

a few years ago we had a Volvo 850 Turbo wagon. I was younger then but loved the car. Last Wendesday mu parents came home with a new vehicle too, an 02 Acura MDX.

Personally, I think its a nice truck, it has every available option including the DVD navigation. They looked at the X5's, ML's and the RX300's but weren't really overly impressed with any but the Acura.

:rofl: Sure, warning you though- they don't buy us kids nice cars. My mom has an 02 (bought in 01) Audi A4 2.8. While my sister has a 96 Ford Contour SE and I have the 94 Probe GT. And 2 days after taking delivery of the truck my dad was talking about kicking my car outta the garage to make room for his sports car :madred: :guns:

:rofl: I'm allowed to drive them, they just wouldn't buy me a nice car. I'm told when I graduate university they'll buy me a new car. Until then, I'm on my own :rolleyes:
